Blueberry Scones

Did a bit of baking tonight. These blueberry scones from Breakfast, Lunch, Tea turned out beautifully and they are delicious! The blueberries I bought weren't the sweetest, so I made a maple butter to go with. So far, there hasn't been a single disappointment from this book; I highly recommend it!!!!

Surround Yourself with What You Love

 

 This month's House Beautiful has a spread on bookshelves in various interiors. You always hear about women who have imagined their wedding day since childhood, but for me it always been about the house I would create when I grew up. I've imagined my house in so many different ways; I used to sketch out the rooms and still save clippings of beautiful interiors. The one room that has never disappeared from any version is the library. Here are some of my favorite rooms that house those objects that speak, transcend, transport and inspire us with words and pictures...
