Shadow Boxing at Saffron & Genevieve
Last night's Shadow Boxing class at Saffron & Genevieve was wonderful!!!! The shop was the perfect setting to inspire and the women had incredible energy, creativity and courage!
I am always impressed by what people make in a workshop. In a meagre 3 hours of collecting ephemera, composing objects and sipping wine, at the end each woman had created a one of a kind piece of art that is truly exquisite.
This Alice inspired box sat upside down while drying which makes perfect sense in Wonderland.

ECPC Messy Art Day
Today was Messy Art Day. I built this giraffe for the kids to Paper Mache. Here is Mila and the giraffe (still unnamed) in the buff before the kids have had at him...
After he's all papered he will live inside where the kids have their morning circle/storytime...
Next week I'll go back and have the kids add his spots by painting their handprints onto him!

Owls and Dave Grohl at Milk + Bookies
Okay so this is a pic off the web, so excuse the poor quality but...check it out! Those are my owls at the Milk + Bookies story time celebration that happened last weekend at the Skirball Center in LA with Dave Grohl! Jennifer Gardner, Jason Biggs, Marlan Waynes and few other celebrities sat in this chair and read stories by my paper animals! That's pretty cool :)
