Had two amazing workshops recently... Image Transfers at the San Francisco Center for the Book and 

a kids workshop at Paxton Gate's Curiosities for Kids. Both classes went so well! More pics to come...

ECPC Messy Art Day

Today was Messy Art Day. I built this giraffe for the kids to Paper Mache. Here is Mila and the giraffe (still unnamed) in the buff before the kids have had at him...
After he's all papered he will live inside where the kids have their morning circle/storytime...

Next week I'll go back and have the kids add his spots by painting their handprints onto him!

Aaron and I went to Community Art Night at Jefferson Elementary. Several Parents started an art group and are creating installations throughout the school. Art Night was a school and community event. There was a tremendous amount of energy and creativity. Kids, parents, friends, teachers were all making incredible treasures including birds made from discarded library book. Many of the creations from art night will be installed throughout Jefferson. Check out some of the video below...
