I recently found out about "spore prints." Although I love mushroom imagery, I never thought about taking a print from a live mushroom. I collected these mushrooms from my neighborhood. After plucking off the stem, I placed the mushrooms on a sheet of white paper and enclosed the entire page, mushrooms and all, in a tupperware. 12 hours later you have these amazing shibori like aureoles in browns, ochres and greys.
